Maltbys has a wide range of projects which give the experience necessary to establish a strong base for real long term career growth. These projects include Education, Social Housing, Private Developments, Commercial, Retail, Bank Funding and more.

Exercise and develope your skills including estimating/cost planning, procurement, cost control & reporting, risk management, variation assessment and negotiation and beyond.

Any prospective candidates would require to: 

• Have a tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying.
• Be a fast learner, able to take direction and have excellent time management skills.
• Have exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Have client facing and management experience with key stake holders.
• Be detailed orientated and take pride in your work.
• Deliver end-to-end core quantity surveying services from feasibility to completion.
• Provide mentoring and support to junior and intermediate team members.
• Assist senior team members with the operational management of the office as required and able to take advantage of business development opportunities where they arise.
• Currently reside in New Zealand being a citizen, permanent resident or otherwise hold an appropriate work visa.
• Have at least 5 years’ post qualified experience working as a Quantity Surveyor and/or Estimator.
• Have a valid license for driving in New Zealand.
• Membership of NZIQS or RICS is also encouraged.
